About the event
Do you know what will happen to your bank account, your house, or your kids if you pass away unexpectedly? What would happen if your parents passed away tomorrow? Life is tricky, and we don't know when emergencies will happen so let's talk about ways you can prepare now for when the unexpected happens.
Many people believe that an estate plan isn’t necessary unless you have a lot of money, but that simply isn’t the case. You may have heard of a Last Will and Testament, a Trust, a Power of Attorney, or an Advanced Directive, but what are they? What do they do? How do we use them? In this FREE Community event, Kimberly Jewell from Jewell Law Office will explain how each of these documents work and why they’re important.
Sarah Kendrick created her business, RHEA Services, to help women get the essential information that they carry around in their heads written down, so that someone could step in if necessary. This work has given her a very unique perspective in knowing what information matters and how to make sure it's able to be found if needed.
Sarah will give us some critical steps to take to make sure that things won’t completely fall apart without us. If you’ve ever wondered, “what would happen if…” you should join us!
