Decemeber unfortunately brought Covid, but a smaller BR Members group was still able to attend one evening with Cheryl Piotrowski. She owns Hand Stamped by Cheryl and her Thankful greeting card kit was featured in the October "Grateful, Thankful, Blessed" subscription box. Cheryl hosts several weekly classes both available during the day and evening, and runs her business out of her gorgeous finished basement in Fishers, IN. Since she holds classes for beginners, as well as for advanced card crafters, there is always an event for everyone. If you missed out on this Member's Day Out event, you can check out what she is currently offering here.
When I first arrived to Cheryl's lovely home, I was surprised to find a cute snack station spread laid out in the kitchen. Yummy! I was then invited to proceed to the basement where we listened to Christmas music and chatted with the other ladies that were there for an advanced crafting event. While their stamping skills were enviably better than mine, I was still glad that I was able to choose a kit to work on, since I would have gotten overwhelmed with all of the paper, stamps, and ink choices shown in the catalogs. There is just SO much to choose from!
It really was a relaxing couple of hours to spend crafting, and my cards turned out better than I thought they would! Now that I know I can order kits from Cheryl, I'll be able to continue to give out heartfelt cards for any occasion.
For those of you that want to try shooting at a gun range, need to practice their shooting techniques, or just want to practice with other BR members, make sure you sign up for the next event. A group of us went to the Shoot Point Blank location in Avon on 1/10/22, but Sarah is arranging for other members to attend at the Greenwood location on 2/21/22.
Spaces are limited so make sure you register for your spot and notify Sarah NOW!
I hope you will subscribe to the upcoming January "True Crime is my Valentine" box so that you too can enjoy the goodies and prevent becoming a victim of True Crime. And I hope to see you at the next outing, because I would love to meet you! *Bang, bang*
